Clevedon

The Community has a long history in Clevedon (St. Edith’s Children’s Home was established by the Community.) Later the Sisters lived in a bungalow opposite St. Edith’s and in recent years Sister Lydia has engaged in Spiritual Direction and Retreat Work from the house in Dial Hill Road.

This week, the house will be blessed for a new purpose: our UK Novitiate!  We hope that the beauty of this location will help to inspire Sisters new to the Religious Life, and help them to develop and deepen lives of prayer, based on shared Offices and the eucharist. It is also close to Bristol, which will provide an opportunity for new Sisters to work with more experienced Sisters in our Loaves and Fishes project, in addition to local ministries.
