Kingsdown

The Community bought Well Cottage in the year 2000. It is a four bedroom Queen Anne cottage about 7 minutes walk from the sea in Kingsdown, near Deal in Kent.

It has become a place for retreats and holidays for members of the Community and others. Deal is a charming unspoilt seaside town. Dover is 6 miles away with access to France!  Canterbury is 18 miles away and can be reached by public transport.

The resident Sister runs the house and is also involved in ministry in the local parishes and the Diocese. The cottage is also used for Quiet Days by groups and individuals.

There is a lovely garden, a Summer House that looks down to the sea and a small chapel. It is two miles from the nearest station. There is a bus that goes to and from Deal every hour.

People using the cottage are invited to make a donation towards the running costs.
